The joy of the members in Mbierebe Obio District knew no bounds as Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong of South Central of Nigeria accompanied by Bishop Ime Udombang lead more than 40 District ministers and their spouses to a festive service for the departed on Sunday 4th November 2018 at Mbierebe Obio Congregation. It was the first service of this magnitude since the creation of the new district.

The Apostle read a text from Jude 1:20-21 “But you beloved, building yourselves up on the most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God…”

Apostle Ekpenyong exhorted the brethren to build up themselves with the word of God, in fellowship, Apostles’s doctrine, prayers and breaking of bread and wine.

He further charged them to believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son, the activities of the Holy Spirit, and in the Apostolate.

Finally, he urged all the brethren to keep themselves in the love of God and His mercy. This is also applicable to those in yonder realms.

Bishop Ime Udombang and District Elder Armstrong Inyang were called to assist. 209 members and guests were in attendance.

At the end of the service, participants had the opportunity to interact with the Apostle.
