Sunday, 18th November 2018, will remain a remarkable and memorable day in the life of Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong of South Central Area of Nigeria. He celebrated ten years of his Apostleship in a divine service with his family, friends and the congregation of the Zonal Headquarters, Four Towns, Uyo.

Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong conducted the divine service based on the text word, Revelation 20:6 (NKJV), ‘Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection, over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years’.

In his message, he charged participants to allow themselves to be prepared for the Kingdom of Peace, reminding all that we are to proclaim the gospel in the Kingdom as Priests of God and Christ.

With a heart of praise and thanksgiving, Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong said God’s faithfulness in his life, family and ministry cannot be quantified. He was full of praises for God while thanking his blessing bearers, family and church faithfuls for their support and prayers.
Bishop Ime Udombang assisted at the service with 405 in attendance. A Priest and one (1) Deacon were ordained.

After the divine service, the Apostle together with his family, friends and church faithfuls cut a cake to commemorate the occasion. He also donated a generator set to the church to mark his 10th anniversary celebration. Among special guests were Apostle Samuel Usoro of South East Area, Dr. Martins Akpan - the celebrant’s childhood friend, Rev. (Dr.) Mike Akpabio and a representative of the State Commissioner of Finance, Linus Nkan  (a kinsman of the celebrant).

A festive concert was also held on the eve of the anniversary and thanksgiving service at the same venue.
