It was fun, excitement, suspense and thrilling on Saturday 13th July, 2019 at Uyo, South Central Area as the central working committee of 2020 National Youth Convention watch with disbelief as the young people displayed their God given talents.

The 6-man committee headed by Apostle Godday Odilli arrived Uyo on Friday evening, 12th to the warm embrace of Apostle Effiong Ekpenyong and Bishop Ime Udombang, themselves members of the committee. Others members includes Apostles Ernest Onwukwe , Oscar Nwanza and District Evangelist Charity.

The one day event with the theme "Arise and Shine" Isaiah 60: 1, was very impressive. The Area Youth Leader, Pr Ofonime James while welcoming the guests assured them that the young people are set for the event and that the south Central area will parade more than 2000 youths at Benin.

Activities displayed included solo performance, xylophone melody, cultural displays and dance drama.  Others includes quintet, recitations, talk show, choir renditions, documentary on the Church, debates and discussion by District Elder Armstrong Inyang on the topic "My Church and I"

One of the most thrilling display was the "boat on land" conveying ministers to the hinterland to share the gospel as was then.

The event was rounded off with classical music concert in the evening. Over 500 young people within the surrounding four districts attended the event.

Apostle Odilli and other members of the committee expressed satisfaction with their performances. Apostles Samuel Usoro and Enobong Udoh of South East and South West areas stopped over to welcome the visitors.

The committee rounded off their visit the following day with a festive divine service.
